Walking with Jesus

Updated: Sep 9, 2021

James 1: 2-4- My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Beloved, it is not uncommon to find ourselves discouraged, frustrated, and at times confused at difficult circumstances in our lives. Trials don't often give us warnings on when they encounter us. One thing that we can be certain of is that when we do find ourselves in the middle of a storm in our life, it is there to produce patience in us. When we say yes to Jesus and begin to walk with Him, change begins to take place. Our faith is built through our testimonies, through the scriptures, and even through our pastors and ministers at church. Trials also work to build our faith. They make us stronger, wiser and causes us to learn how rely on Jesus to carry us through. All that we go through is for the glory of our Father in heaven. Our new life in Christ is taking form in us and it will outweigh the old life we use to have. So the next time you encounter trials, give God a sacrifice of praise in the midst of them! For you can be assured that the old is passing away and all things are becoming new!
